Sunnemo Ecovillage

Sunnemo Farm is a total area of 67 ha of land, of which 33 ha is open field of sandy soil, where free range cattle had originally been kept. The remaining 34 ha is forest of various types. The land is located in Sunnemo, Värmland and bordered by Grässjön, Hyttån and Bråndammen. The farm spreads on different parcels in Sunnemo village.

The goal with the farm is to establish an ecovillage of people who settle and create effective vegetable cultures, such as potato, carrot, pumpkin, tomato and so on. Some parts of the land would be used to experiment with different kinds of crops, for example growing our own grains to turn into flower to eventually end up in our café as beautifully home-baked breads and cakes.
